Drew Cox is a South African filmmaker currently living in London, where he works as a freelance video director/editor and photographer. He thrives on all aspects of the creative process, writing, directing, shooting and editing, combining new and old technologies and different media to create exciting and innovative works through all forms of visual culture.
Specializing in film, social documentary, music, fashion and the arts, his ideas focus on an amalgamation of real life and fantasy. Mixing his beliefs, culture, influences and environment into each project and challenging his own identity as a creative practitioner.
He has created work for numerous clients from Coca Cola, Nike, Warp Records, Kanye West, Sony, iD Magazine, Marks & Spencers, Duff Magazine, Oxfam, ITV, The Shakespeare's Globe, Watershed Bristol, Age UK, BBC, Puma, HTC Mobiles, Mrs Jones, Universal Records, Rachel Adedeji, Jack Wills, Aubin&Wills, Bliss Magazine, Ignite TV, Creative Partnerships, Breast Cancer Campaign and The Natural History Museum, to a host of independent production companies, artists and musicians.
